Job description

We are seeking a Junior/Senior Software Engineer to support end-to-end software system integration for research EU-funded projects. The role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining continuous deployment solutions and products, as well as coaching software engineers on DevOps, automation, and cloud-native adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Design continuous integration and deployment processes.

  • Collaboration with development teams to support DevOps procedures and resolve technical issues.

  • Software applications deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Engineer, Master or Bachelor's degree in subjects of Computer Science or IT Networking.

  • Proven years of experience in Services: SW systems integration, development and testing.

Technical knowledge

  • Containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Software solutions customization

  • Operating Systems: Unix, Linux

  • Servers: Apache, NGINX, DJANGO

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Git for version control and collaboration

  • Script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)

  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment

Desired Characteristics

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability and willingness to travel

The salary is comparable to private sector salary standards.
