About the Role 

We are seeking a Software Architect to spearhead the architectural vision and technical 

strategy for a modular, distributed enterprise platform as it evolves into a full SaaS solution. 

This senior, strategic position focuses on defining the systems, standards, and foundations 

necessary for secure, scalable, and sustainable product growth. 

You will collaborate across disciplines to align platform development with Agile 

methodologies, security and compliance requirements, and hybrid infrastructure. Your 

work will be pivotal to technical governance and long-term planning. 

Key Responsibilities 

∙Define and advance the software architecture for a scalable multi-tenant SaaS 

platform. 

∙Establish and uphold architecture standards, coding conventions, and system design 

best practices. 

∙Guide decisions on deployment models, data isolation, availability, and scalability. 

∙Provide architectural oversight for both new and existing systems. 

∙Develop policies and strategies for data security, compliance, and sovereignty, 

especially for regulated markets. 

∙Support hybrid implementations across on-premises and cloud environments. 

∙Partner with engineering and DevOps to ensure alignment with Agile, CI/CD, and 

automation goals. 

∙Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns to ensure long-term platform 

health. 

Requirements 

∙8+ years in software engineering, including at least 3+ years as a lead architect or 

principal engineer. 

∙Strong expertise in scalable, distributed systems and API-first platforms. 

∙Experience with multi-tenancy, system isolation, and modularity. 

∙Deep understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and sovereignty best 

practices. 

∙Proven leadership in Agile environments and guiding teams through iterative 

delivery. 

∙Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-

technical groups. 

Nice to Have 

∙Experience with SaaS product development from architecture to deployment. 

∙Knowledge of metadata-driven systems, rules engines, or workflow orchestration 

platforms. 

∙Familiarity with hybrid deployment architectures (on-premises and cloud) and 

infrastructure automation. 

∙Background modernizing legacy or monolithic systems to modular or service-based 

platforms. 

∙Domain expertise in complex sectors like retail technology, logistics, or regulated 

industries.
