Your main responsibility:
- Collect, validate, and analyze energy data (electricity, gas, LPG, water, etc.) from various sources, including building management systems (BMS/EMS), prepare regular reports on energy performance for internal distribution and external stakeholders, and support the development of sustainability reports incorporating energy-related metrics.
- Monitor energy and water consumption patterns to identify anomalies and inefficiencies, and investigate and implement corrective actions to address environmental-related issues identified by the entire team.
- Participate in energy efficiency projects, such as the installation of metering systems and the implementation of new functionalities, track project progress and report on energy/water savings achieved, and collaborate with the FM team on corrective maintenance and calibration issues of metering systems.
- Calculate and analyze energy-related KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track performance against targets, support the development of significant energy use distribution analysis within the EMS, and identify trends and insights from energy data to support decision-making.
- Assist the team in conducting energy audits across hotel properties in accordance with ISO 50001/14064 and 14068 standards, collect and analyze energy consumption data to identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation and maintenance of the energy management system (EMS) in compliance with ISO 50001/14064.
- Address, calculate, and support Carbon Management calculations as part of the organization's sustainability and compliance initiatives.
Your main qualifications/skills:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong background in computer software.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environment, as well as in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite 2016 or later.
- Solution-oriented and proactive personality, with minimum previous work experience of 2 years.
- English (Advanced Level as a minimum), and good communication skills would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D would be considered an asset for supporting technical tasks and projects.
- Strong overall technical foundation combined with the ability to apply knowledge effectively across different tools and environments.
