Assistant Manager/Senior Associate
in our
Deal Advisory
division. Our Portfolio Solutions Group team is experiencing strong growth, resulting in several opportunities for ambitious individuals looking to develop a career in Deal Advisory services.

Our specialized team provides financial advisory services on loan portfolio sales transactions (sell side and buy side), as well as in securitizations and other complex structured finance solutions. Our team is involved in a range of advisory roles in transactions involving banks, loan servicers and financial services firms and aims to assist clients throughout the whole transaction process. Transaction support incorporates assistance with business plan assessment, including support to the transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.

Assistant Manager/Senior Associate
in our Deal Advisory team, you will be at the forefront of
Deals in
Financial Industry
, playing a pivotal role in helping our clients optimize their financial performance and achieve strategic objectives. You will be involved in
Banking M&A
, in
NPL portfolio transactions
,
synthetic securitizations
and other relevant transactions. Your expertise in financial analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring will be critical in guiding clients through the complexities of the transactions.

Responsibilities

Reporting to a Manager, the appointed candidates will be primarily responsible to assist the Portfolio Solutions Group team to ensure performance and continuing growth of the business.

Specifically, the role's main responsibilities can be summarized but are not limited to the following:

  • PMO support of transactions, from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Support the analysis of all data sets and selection of the optimal portfolio to be included in the transaction perimeter.
  • Perform data quality checks for accuracy and completeness and prioritize findings to develop a remediation strategy.
  • Support the preparation of business plan, cash flow model and liability model.
  • Support the preparation of all marketing material, i.e. data tapes, information memorandum, teasers, etc.
  • Assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations.
  • Actively supervise and support the development of junior team members, ensuring their career development.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive advisory services tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Statistics or another related field. Postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a consulting-centered role.
  • Experience in Banking, NPL transactions, traditional securitizations or synthetic securitizations will be considered a strong plus.
  • Experience with R/Python/SQL or other tool in building and deploying portfolio valuation models will also be considered.
  • An active CFA/ACCA certification (or in a final stage of completion) would be highly appreciated.
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude and ability to develop innovative ideas.
  • Strong team participation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with focus on high quality deliverables.
  • Willingness to learn, proactivity and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
