Project Manager for Metro Project

Qualifications
MSc Civil, or Electrical, or Mechanical Engineers with over 15 years general experience and at least 5 years' experience in Managerial positions of Metro projects for employment in Athens / Greece.

Fluency in Greek and English language both written and spoken

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage Team a of more than 30 experts
  • Review the Contractor's plans, schedules and strategies.
  • Dealing with the contract management of the project. Knowlegde in Greek Public Works Law (No 4412, 3669) is a must.
  • Prepares engineering Monthly Reports
  • Identify areas of improvement in procedures, implementing best industry practices in Metro projects.
  • Ensure that comprehensive records are maintained and properly organized and archived by the Contractor for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth integration and commissioning of Metro Systems.
  • Identify potential risks and work on mitigation plans to minimize impact on project time schedule.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to applicable laws, safety standards and regulations, minimizing risk to workers, passengers and the environment.
  • Implement Quality Control measures to guarantee that the Metro Systems meet the required standards and performance criteria.
  • Address technical issues and challenges, collaborating with relevant teams to find effective solutions.
