Budgeting and Cost Control Specialist
to join its Finance Division.

As a
Budgeting & Cost Control Specialist
, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial lifecycle of all shared operating expenses recharged to Alpha Bank and its Group companies. You will handle invoicing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), collections, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. You will contribute to the design and execution of the annual
Budget
and periodic
Forecast
, while ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded in
SAP
.

What you will be doing

  • Record, process, and monitor all shared expenses (e.g., utilities, facility services, maintenance) attributed to Alpha Bank and its Group subsidiaries
  • Manage the full invoicing and recharging process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections related to common cost allocations
  • Execute and review accounting entries in SAP, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal policies
  • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting of shared costs, including preparation of relevant schedules and data analysis
  • Track actuals vs. budget for shared operating expenses, investigate variances, and propose corrective actions where needed
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and internal statements for management review and intercompany reconciliation
  • Work closely with Accounting to ensure correct accruals and expense recognition
  • Coordinate with Real Estate and Asset Management units for tracking of shared expenses related to real estate assets and facilities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and audit requirements for intercompany financial transactions

What you need to have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CMA) is a plus
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in budgeting, cost control, or accounting (preferably in a corporate or group environment)
  • Solid understanding of cost allocation models, intercompany billing, and collections procedures
  • Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proactive approach to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Professional fluency in Greek and English
