Responsibilities

• Contributes to the preparation of preliminary studies for Conventional and Alternative Power Production Projects, specifically regarding electrical equipment and installations
• Prepares technical specifications, studies, drawings and descriptions of electrical equipment and installations for Tender Invitations related to Conventional and Alternative Power Production Projects, and participates in the drafting of the relevant Contracts
• Participates in the preparation of budgets for electrical equipment and installations in Conventional and Alternative Power Production Projects
• Contributes to the preparation of the licensing application file regarding electrical equipment and installations for Conventional and Alternative Power production Projects
• Undertakes the review and approval of studies, drawings, and equipment related to power electrical installations (High, Medium, and Low Voltage) submitted by Contractors during the execution of Conventional and Alternative Power Production Projects
• Participates in the Acceptance Procedures of Conventional and Alternative Power Production Projects and in the resolution of disputes with Contractors regarding outstanding issues related to electrical equipment and installation studies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a University or College or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology
• Master of Engineering will be considered an additional qualification
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the preparation of studies and designs for power electrical installations (High Voltage, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage) for Substation projects of 400kV or 150kV or for thermal/hydroelectric Power Production projects with capacity greater than 50MW
• License to practice as an Engineer in the corresponding specialty of the degree
• Knowledge of Autocad and/or Power System Analysis Software (Neplan, PowerFactory, CYME, etc.) will be considered an additional qualification
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
