skilled and motivated Mid-Level Cloud Engineer
to support our clients and build innovative infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Server provisioning
    : Deploy and configure servers, both physical and virtual, based on client requirements. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient server setup.
  • Infrastructure monitoring
    : Monitor the performance, availability, and security of the infrastructure systems. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Management of Office 365
    : Assist clients with basic Office 365 setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Provide guidance and support on Office 365 applications, such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Networking tasks
    : Possess a fundamental understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Assist in troubleshooting network-related issues and collaborate with network engineers for more complex problems.
  • Customer support
    : Provide timely and effective technical support to clients via phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related problems, guiding clients through proper solutions.
  • Documentation and reporting
    : Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions as required.
  • Night Shift Schedule and remote work
    : Participate in a rotating night shift schedule, allowing coverage during non-business hours. Additionally, have the ability to work from home during scheduled shifts, ensuring seamless support and system management.
  • Continuous Learning
    : Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Engage in self-learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or CompTIA Network will be considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related role. Familiarity with server provisioning, infrastructure monitoring tools, and basic Office 365 administration is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, bash) for automation and system management tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyse complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
