Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit
Sustainability Professionals
to join our Advisory Services department.
As stakeholders increasingly seek organizations to provide transparent and explicit disclosures regarding their long-term ESG commitments, the demand for clarity has intensified. Investors, suppliers, customers, and employees all desire a comprehensive understanding of the purpose and values of the companies they engage with or are employed by. Consequently, there has been a notable surge in the emphasis placed on non-financial metrics and the reporting thereof.
At KPMG a wide array of ESG frameworks and methodologies are being used, with variations based on the sector, size, and complexity of each business.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage projects and project teams in the ESG & Sustainability domain, both consulting and assurance, ensuring the quality, on time-delivery and within budget.
- Develop new business opportunities in the field of Sustainability/ESG Reporting.
- Implementing standard methodologies or developing new ones, for integrating ESG & sustainability related projects to our clients.
- Support clients in their journey towards compliance with the new reporting Directives and Regulations (such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy etc).
- Maintain awareness of global and regional ESG trends, new standards, tools, and certifications, and share updates and implications with the team.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of Experience in ESG and/or broader sustainability domain. Candidates with more experience in ESG and/or broader sustainability domain are very welcome to apply as this will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of national and EU sustainability-related regulatory advancements.
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental/ Economic/ Business Administration/Engineering or similar discipline, related to sustainability.
- A master's degree in a Sustainability-related field will be a strong preference.
- Proven experience in ESG-related frameworks and standards such as: ESRS/CSRD, GRI and SASB. Experience in other frameworks and standards, such as: TCFD, CDP, ISO EMAS, ISO Greenhouse gases, GHG protocol, EU Taxonomy etc, will be considered an asset.
- Ability to combine both quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve sustainability-related business problems.
- Excellent project management skills and a demonstrated track record in overseeing projects.
- Strong self-motivation, organizational and problem-solving skills, proactiveness and "can do" attitude.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and experience handling large amounts of data.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills - ability to articulate thoughts, ideas to develop a cohesive point of view.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
