Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Senior Consultant-IFRS Specialist will include:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
  • Research and interpret new IFRS standards and assess their impact on the company.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
  • Provide training and support on IFRS-related matters

For whom we're looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance with a focus on IFRS
  • Someone who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance/Economics or relevant field
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting
  • Someone who is able to communicate fluently Both in English & in Greek
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • IFRS related qualification (ACCA, ICAEW etc)

  • Experience in a multinational company or public accounting firm.
