Our company is undertaking the upgrade of security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, protection fencing and lighting) at Power Generation Facilities across the Greek islands. We are looking for a
Field Supervising Engineer (Security Systems)
to join our site operations team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the selected candidate will oversee on-site coordination, technical supervision, and quality assurance of the installation works, ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedule milestones.

This position requires frequent travel and extended presence at remote project sites throughout the Greek island region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the execution of security system installations (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) at power generation sites
  • Organize daily on-site activities to ensure alignment with the project schedule and overall work plan
  • Manage materials and ensure timely delivery and availability of all required equipment on-site
  • Monitor the performance of subcontractors and technicians, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and H&S protocols
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Maintain daily site logs and progress reports
  • Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks throughout installation and commissioning
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and engineering team to resolve technical issues and support smooth project execution
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, scope, and approved materials/equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field (Automation or Electronics Engineering may also be considered)
  • Minimum
    3 years
    of proven experience in supervising installations of low voltage systems (preferably security, automation, or ELV systems)
  • Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection), cabling standards, and installation practices
  • Familiarity with industrial and/or energy infrastructure environments
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent in Greek; professional working proficiency in English
  • Preferred experience in renewable energy or power plant infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and site safety best practices
  • Basic knowledge of commissioning/testing procedures for ELV systems
  • Preferred previous work in remote construction sites
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively within Greece
