Power System Engineer
to strengthen our studies and modeling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute
    power system studies
    across HV and MV networks, including but not limited to:
  • Load Flow, Short Circuit, Static & Dynamic / Transient Studies
  • Protection Coordination and CT / VT Sizing
  • GridCode Connection & Compliance Analyses (e.g., RfG or local codes)
  • Power Quality / Harmonics
  • Develop and validate
    equipment and network models
    (generators, storage, inverters, transformers, lines, etc.).
  • Perform
    LV (AC & DC) network studies
    , including:
  • Load flow / voltage drop analysis
  • Short-circuit calculations
  • Cable sizing
  • Protection coordination (MCBs, fuses, DC protection)
  • Integrate LV systems (BESS, converters) with MV/HV networks in studies.
  • Create and maintain study deliverables
  • Coordinate closely with protection/control engineers, design teams, and project managers to ensure study results feed into design, commissioning, and advisory work.
  • Support due diligence, feasibility, grid connection studies, and advisory services.
  • Stay up to date with industry tools, grid codes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in power system studies (HV/MV and preferably LV).
  • Strong experience with
    simulation tools
    like DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Knowledge of other tools (ETAP, PSCAD, PSS/E) is a plus.
  • Experience in model building / validation (equipment models) and scripting or advanced use (e.g., Python, DSL, DPL) is a bonus.
  • Good understanding of grid-codes, grid-connection processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills; a capacity to interpret simulation results into actionable design or advisory decisions.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills (English; Greek).
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with renewable generation (wind, PV), BESS, or converter-based systems.
  • Previous site experience or commissioning involvement.
  • MSc specialization in Power Systems, Renewable Energy or related field.
  • Experience in advisory / due diligence / consulting context.
  • Familiarity with HV/MV Substations Control and Protection Systems Design and/or panel / schematic design tools (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD) and Control and Protection Systems Design will be considered a plus.
