Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Accounting Department Support, located in Athens. The role involves daily tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing accounting software, processing journal entries, and analyzing financial data. The support role will assist the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of customer and supplier balances (via phone and email communication).
  • Entry and verification of accounting documents (purchase invoices, expenses, receipts, payments).
  • Bank reconciliation and POS checks (Nexi).
  • Monitoring of data transmissions (income – expenses).
  • Issuance of sales and delivery documents.
  • Monitoring of cash flows, fixed expenses, and sales representatives' expense reports.
  • Filing and maintenance of electronic records and documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, ideally with experience in Softone.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
  • Organizational skills, reliability, responsibility, and a dynamic presence in a professional environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and manage multiple responsibilities.
