Accounting Consultant

At WeConnect, we're a software house building integration platforms that connect ERPs with the Greek tax authority (AADE myDATA) and automate financial reporting for companies.

We're looking for an Accounting Consultant to bridge the gap between accounting and technology — helping our clients stay compliant, simplify their daily work, and ensure our platform truly speaks the accountant's language.

What You'll Do

• Understand how our accounting clients operate and how they record transactions, to
  gather business specifications
  for integration projects.
• Ensure that ERP data is correctly transmitted to
  myDATA
  .
• Monitor small projects
  end-to-end — from specification to go-live.
• Read new AADE specifications
  and translate them into clear business requirements for our developers.
• Provide
  1st-level support
  to clients using our platform.
• Test
  new features from a business and accounting perspective before release.
• Identify and explain accounting mismatches between ERP and myDATA records and propose improvements for automated
  reconciliation
  .
• Deliver
  user training
  and contribute to creating clear
  user documentation
  .

What We're Looking For

• Solid accounting background
  — you know how to record income and expenses, and you fully understand debits, credits, and journal entries.
• Strong
  attention to detail
  and analytical mindset.
• Interest in learning how different ERPs work and exchange data.
• Excellent communication skills in
  Greek
  and
  English
  .
• Curiosity and willingness to understand how software and integrations work.
• Degree in Accounting
  ,
  Finance
  , or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity
  with AADE
  myDATA
  or digital bookkeeping in Greece.
• Experience with
  accounting reconciliations
  .
• Exposure to
  ERP
  systems.
