Our clients are typically public health units, universities, private law legal entities, local authorities. Some of the company's projects include accounting planning and control, preparation of financial reports, internal audit and implementation of modern managements tools such as the performance measurement, the departmental budgeting and the costing based on DRGs in public health units.

Job description:

Our team is expanding We seek a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant. In this role, you will support the accounting team with various tasks and projects. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the field of accounting.

Accounting Assistant responsibilities include the following duties:

  • Collaboration with Account Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks and reconciliations for our clients.
  • Monitoring clients' ledgers and execute monthly reconciliations. Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.
  • Assistance in the preparation of financial statements such as the Balance Sheet and the Income and Loss Statement for the company's clients.
  • Creation of daily reports for management and team members.
  • Performance of basic office tasks like filing, data entry, and mail processing. Conduct basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks.

Skills
:

  • Computer skills (Experience of
    using accounting
    or bookkeeping
    software
    is considered as a bonus)
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and especially MS Excel
  • Math skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong communication and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet the deadlines. Time management skills
  • Taking initiatives, oriented in meeting companys goals.
  • "Attention to detail" mindset and accuracy

Requirements
:

  • BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • MSC in Accounting will be considered as an asset (but is not a prerequisite)
  • Experience in the field of Public Sector Accounting will be considered as a strong asset
  • A desire to learn and grow within the field of accounting
