The Firm is seeking professionals with strong expertise in commercial and civil law, and preferably in company and/or insurance law

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lawyer based in Athens. The Lawyer will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal services across a range of fields, including commercial contracts, company law, insurance law, business transactions, and regulatory matters. Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out detailed legal analysis on commercial contracts, corporate governance, insurance law, and industry-specific regulations.

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements and pleadings for litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings.

Preparing expert legal opinions, either independently or in collaboration with other team members.


• R
eporting to clients by providing updates, briefing notes, and insights on significant legal developments and industry changes.


•
Monitoring and analyzing regulatory updates and changes issued by national and EU authorities to ensure compliance and proactive legal strategy.

The role involves close collaboration with the Firm's partners to ensure the highest standard of legal service and support clients in navigating complex legal challenges effectively.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Law.


• Master's degree in commercial law, civil law, insurance law, or related fields (EU or national).


• Proven track record of at least 5 years of experience in company law, commercial contracts and/or insurance law.


• Excellent command of the English language (oral and written).


• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to deliver clear, practical, and business-oriented advice.


• Adherence to deadlines, diligence in work, communication skills, and ability to take initiative.


• Ability to work independently and within a high-performance team.
