As a Senior Crypto Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, managing, and growing our crypto trading function. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in crypto markets, trading strategy, risk management, and operational oversight. You'll work closely with executive leadership, risk, compliance, tech, and marketing teams to define and deliver a best-in-class crypto offering.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the crypto trading desk, including strategy, operations, and team development
  • Develop and execute crypto trading strategies (both proprietary and client-facing)
  • Oversee market making, liquidity management, and pricing
  • Manage risk exposure, implement risk controls, and monitor P&L
  • Ensure compliance with relevant crypto regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to enhance platform capabilities
  • Identify partnership opportunities with exchanges, liquidity providers, and custodians
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes
  • Report directly to senior leadership on crypto desk performance and roadmap

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading a crypto trading desk or similar role
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and trading mechanics
  • Previous experience in FX/CFD or fintech industry is highly desirable
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and compliance standards in financial services
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
  • Strong network in the crypto ecosystem (exchanges, LPs, custodians, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (Master's or CFA is a plus)
