We are looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to strengthen our FP&A / Finance Partnering team in Greece.

This role will be the
key finance counterpart for our most strategic Business Units
, driving performance, profitability, and disciplined cost management.

Key responsibilities

  • Primary finance partner for 1–2 strategic Business Units in Greece.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews, explain variances, and drive actions on NS, GM, A&P, OPEX, EBIT and WC.
  • Own the planning cycle (budget, forecasts, 3YP) for your BUs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs and improve forecast accuracy and quality of the performance story.
  • Lead OPEX governance for all BUs and functions.
  • Ensure cost transparency, regular reviews with owners, and reallocation from low- to high-ROI spend.
  • Build and challenge business cases (NPD, pricing, promo, customers, channels, investments).
  • Turn analysis into clear recommendations and margin/WC improvement actions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to BU Directors, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other leaders.
  • Guide and facilitate FP&A analysts working on your BUs/projects (functional leadership).
  • Support simplification, automation and better use of SAP / BI tools within FP&A.

Profile & requirements

Experience

  • 5-6 years
    in Finance, with strong experience in
    FP&A / Commercial Finance / Business Partnering
    .
  • Background in
    FMCG, consumer goods or retail
    strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving decisions.

Skills

  • Strong command of
    P&L, OPEX and working capital
    .
  • Excellent analytical skills - able to move quickly from data to insight and action.
  • Very good
    Excel
    and solid
    BI/reporting tools
    knowledge (SAC / Power BI / SAP BW or similar).
  • Confident, challenging, and clear communicator.

Education & languages

  • Degree in
    Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration
    or related.
  • Professional qualification (
    CIMA, ACCA, CPA
    ) is a plus.
  • Fluent Greek
    and
    very good English
    .
