Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to employ an Experienced Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting Bookkeeping Outsourcing Services Team.

As an Accountant, you will be working in a team of results-oriented professionals guiding and supporting clients in managing their financial records. You will be closely working with clients to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices, reviewing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending appropriate bookkeeping strategies.

Requirements

The appointed candidate will assist our Accounting Team to ensure performance and continuing growth of business for our clients.

More specifically, the main tasks can be summarized but are not limited to the following:

• Ensures accurate and timely update of accounts and general ledgers.
• Monitors statutory and tax compliance obligations such as VAT, withholding and income tax.
• Prepares the year-end financial statements according to Greek Law.
• Researches, analyzes, and keeps up to date with changing tax accounting laws.
• Prepares financial reports and commentary by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for Greek Authorities.
• Undertakes ad hoc projects, such as the implementation of new accounting processes and procedures.
• Interfaces with multidisciplinary professionals within KPMG's other departments to deliver overall solutions to clients.
• Attends meetings and gathers information from clients.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience either gained in a large professional services firm or accounting office.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Dynamic and flexible individual that adapts well to change.
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly and cooperate via teams.
• Desire to constantly expand knowledge and analyze problems in order to deliver effective client solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
