Outsourcing Accounting Manager

Our Business Process Outsourcing services team designs strategies that help organizations innovate, grow and reduce costs. Our team combines industry knowledge, subject expertise and extensive experience in complete outsourcing of our clients' accounting function, technology based solutions, assistance in the implementation of ERP systems, high quality financial reporting, training of clients' finance teams, organisational design and structure of finance departments, process improvement, implementation of controls, review and constant monitoring.

Our client base consists mainly of international organizations., operating in various industries. Due to the continuing growth of our practice and the high demand for quality Finance and Accounting services, we are now recruiting a Manager in Business Process Outsourcing services team for our office in Athens.

Responsibilities

• Actively participating in key decisions concerning the service line
• Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals;
• Managing your teams and making sure that the services we deliver meet our high quality standards;
• Organizing the team efficiently and making sure that all project milestones are met;
• Delivering excellent client service;
• Understanding the business of our clients and tailor our services to fit their needs;
• Translating business needs of clients into business and functional requirements for technology solutions implementation;
• Perform a wide variety of tasks to support the financial analysis process, including compiling data from various data sources using a broad range of tools (MS Excel , Power BI) and building advanced reports;
• Mentor, guide and train junior staff and act as role model;
• Collaboration in a team-oriented environment for developing innovative approaches to address, efficiently, day to day challenges.
• Anticipating change and encourage others to perform confidently in ambiguity;
• Maintain highest standards of business ethics

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in a relevant role, ideally in a professional services firm;
• Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign top-tier university;
• Completion or final stage participation in a relevant professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA); will be considered as a plus
• Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI will be considered as a plus
• Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office;
• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek).
• A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels;
• Good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
