How you will contribute to EveryPay's vision
We are looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team
What will you be doing:
- Participate in Identifying, evaluating, and reporting on BU risks, and support the development and maintenance of the enterprise risk management (ERM) in general
- Enhance continuous improvement of our risk management framework, including policies, tools and processes, to further improve the quality and scalability of our risk management objectives
- Analyze data and monitor risks and assess their impact on company activities (threats/opportunities)
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), produce risk dashboards, and escalate emerging risks
- Understand and be able to propose mitigating actions against various risk categories (Credit/Interest Rate/FX, Strategy, Disputes and Chargebacks, Operational, Compliance and AML etc.)
- Assist in the development and enhancement of the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP), ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and best practices
- Design and execute stress testing and scenario analysis across key risk areas including operational risk, liquidity, credit exposure (where applicable), and business continuity
- Participate in the KYC process for customer approval of entities from different countries using various internal and external systems and databases in the Onboarding and Reverification process
- Prepare and submit periodic regulatory filings, reports, and notifications
- Lead risk event investigations and root cause analyses
- Respond to ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs
What will you need to succeed:
- BSc preferably in Economics, Finance, Banking, Engineering or other closely related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in risk management process and ERM
- Previous experience in fintech or payments service will be highly appreciated
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of Risk Management frameworks, including ISO 31000 and COSO
- Substantial knowledge of Risk Management frameworks ISO 31000 and COSO framework
- Familiar with regulations and in particular payments' regulations & supervision (e.g. PSD2, EBA guidelines, acquiring & issuing business, DORA Regulation)
- Familiarity with governance structures and risk reporting practices required for regulated financial institutions (e.g., Board Risk Committees, Risk Control Self-Assessments, etc.)
- Experience in building or enhancing risk frameworks in a scaling fintech or EMI
- Knowledge of card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard), Open Banking, and digital wallets
- Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM, PRM, ICA, CAMS), relevant to the assigned area, will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of project management systems (e.g. ASANA)
- Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Effective Communication & Critical thinking
- Excellent use of MS Office
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken)
