Location: Athens Full-time | Permanent
Role Summary:
As a member of our Team, you will be responsible for the handling of motor insurance claims for insured vehicles and third-parties, ensuring timely, fair, and accurate resolution with insurance companies while acting as the primary interface with clients, repair shops, insurance companies' claims adjusters and their legal partners, ensuring high customer service standards and compliance with policy terms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, register and relay to insurance companies customer's first notification of loss.
· Examine the terms and conditions of the insurance policy to determine coverage and liability.
· Liaise with policyholders, insurance companies' claims adjusters, repairers, garages, and external adjusters.
· Arrange in cooperation with insurance companies' claims adjusters for vehicle inspections, damage assessments, estimates and coordinate with regards to repair or replacement.
· Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims with insurance companies' claims adjusters on behalf of customers including repair costs, parts, labor, towing, etc.
· Monitor and investigate claims where liability is disputed (third-party claims, fault disputes).
· Prepare detailed claim files, documentation and internal reports when necessary.
· Maintain accurate case notes, track progress, and meet service-level timelines.
· Escalate complex or high-value claims to management.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal claims policies.
RequirementsWhat you will need to have:
· BSc in Insurance Science, Economics or relevant field.
· years, years' proven experience in motor claims handling/adjustment/insurance claims.
· Solid technical knowledge of motor vehicle repair, parts, and cost structures.
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office & English command (written and oral).
· Experience in a broker environment or working closely with brokers is a strong plus.
· Certification or training in claims, adjusting, or loss control and familiarity with local legislation, traffic & liability laws is desirable.
