Information Security Specialist

Requirements

Necessary qualifications:

  • BSc degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Proven experience in information security roles (4+ years)
  • Knowledge of information security best practices and relevant regulations
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 related security products and services
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language (spoken & written)

Desired qualifications:

  • MSc degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and strategies that align with industry best practices
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations, and managing incident responses
  • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and create strategies to mitigate them
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (i.e. GDPR, etc) and other relevant standards
  • Provide training and guidance to staff to ensure the understanding and adherence to security protocols
  • Coordinate security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans
  • Implement and manage security controls
  • Knowledge of hospitality & tourism business related processes and systems
  • Experience working collaboratively within an IT department and 3rd parties
