Description

As a Senior Lead Full Stack Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Electronic Trading Services, you will leverage your expertise in Python, , ReactJS, FastAPI, Django, and Flask to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance market-leading technology solutions. You will drive significant business impact through your full stack capabilities, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle diverse challenges across front-end and back-end systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Design and develop secure, high-quality production code across the full stack, including front-end and back-end components, and review and debug code written by others.
  • Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes, with a focus on modern full stack architectures.
  • Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in full stack development, with deep expertise in Python, , ReactJS, FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
  • Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge full stack technologies.
  • Add to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Formal training or certification in Computer Science concepts and advanced experience in full stack development.
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Proficiency in Python (including FastAPI, Django, Flask), , JavaScript (ReactJS), and BASH.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as ReactJS.
  • Experience with back-end frameworks including FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and practical public cloud experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, with a focus on full stack architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience working on network automation and metrics.
  • Familiarity with Netbox or other network automation tools is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
