Junior Software Engineer in Test

We're looking for a Junior Software Engineer in Test to join our growing team and help ensure the quality of our software products through hands-on testing and early automation contributions. In this role, you'll learn from mid and senior engineers, working closely with developers and product managers to validate features, write simple automated tests, and build your skills in quality-driven development. It's a perfect opportunity to grow into a test engineering career with mentorship and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated test cases, including writing simple automated test scripts with support.
  • Actively engage in test planning activities.
  • Use bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) to report and track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Understand and perform different types of testing, including system, end-to-end, UI, API, functional, and non-functional testing.
Requirements
  • Foundational programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java or C# for writing simple test scripts.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Understanding of basic test planning and documentation.
  • Collaboration skills to work with developers on identifying and resolving defects.
  • Fundamentals of Databases and SQL.
