New Business Developer

MARMOURIS SA is a leading company in the field of trade and import of furniture equipment. As part of its ongoing growth, the company is seeking to hire a New Business Developer.
Scope of the Role:
Implementing the company's growth strategy by establishing new partnerships, with the aim of increasing sales and fostering strong commercial relationships.
Candidate Profile:
- University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design or long-term relevant experience in technical or commercial roles
- Good knowledge of technical specifications, construction materials, or industry-related solutions (e.g. industrial, construction, technical projects)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent computer skills, MS Office proficiency (ECDL, CAMBRIDGE, or equivalent long-term experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- Very good command of English (C1 level)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Results-oriented, responsible, and team-oriented work ethic
- Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Softone
- Experience with CRM tools would be considered as an asset
- Familiarity with Project Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research (existing and new) to identify potential B2B clients, including construction companies, architects, interior designers, consultants, and hotel chains.
- Research and analyze new and existing markets for building projects (residential, commercial, institutional, private, malls, hotels, hospitals) and identify key stakeholders involved.
- Identify client needs and effectively present the company's profile and product portfolio.
- Plan and organize business trips and meetings with clients.
- Oversee the order process and ensure timely and efficient customer service.
- Track market trends and competitor activity, and propose new materials or solutions based on customer requests or specific product demands.
- Participate in shaping the company's development strategy and entry into new markets.
- Prepare and send commercial proposals and quotations.
- Create regular reports on client status, revenue performance, and profitability tracking.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
