Travel Planner

Travelive is a collection of trusted destination management companies (DMCs) specializing in unique travel experiences tailored to individual clients.  Our destination specialties include Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey.

With offices in the US and across destinations, our dedicated teams led by Country Managers offer the benefits of working with a US company while also providing in-depth local knowledge, support, and a complete solution from 4* to ultraluxe.

Travelive expertise includes custom FIT itineraries, group and multi-generational travel, country combinations, pre-and-post cruise, shore excursions, private yacht charters, and villas. Travelive planners are available for consultation with advisors and their clients. Daily interaction (email and phone) with US Travel Agents and clients.

We are looking to expand our sales team and are seeking an experienced Travel Planner.

Position: Travel Planner

Responsibilities include:

• Master Travelive destinations, itineraries, and services
• Create client profiles and prepare client quotations
• Ensure inquiries are dealt with in a precise and timely manner ascertaining all requirements
• Convert enquiries and meet sales targets
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Offer travel solutions based on client requirements and tailor itineraries to meet specific requests
• Maintain organized communication, quotations, and reports
• Stay current with the travel industry and destination trends, our company, industry training and tools
• Assist senior sales personnel with client quotes and communication

Qualified applicants should have:

• Knowledge of travel destinations
• Experience planning and selling luxury travel
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Company CRM and Booking Platform
• Must be team-oriented, extremely motivated, and able to work independently
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Candidates should be personable, enthusiastic, and extremely polished
• Fluency in English -all communication, written and verbal is in English
• 3-4 years of experience in the travel industry and/or in an international environment
• Impeccable attention to detail is required

Compensation based on experience and includes salary and monthly bonus for meeting sales targets.
