Responsibilities:

  • Monitors contracted withdrawal and restoration projects in terms of quality, schedule, cost, and accounting.
  • Supports compliance with the prescribed procedures and management of issues arising during implementation.
  • Receives and forwards electromechanical and civil engineering studies and designs to the competent Departments, in accordance with the withdrawal and restoration contracts.
  • Prepares reports on the schedule and cost implications of a potential design revision, for approval or comment of the latter by the competent Departments.
  • Monitors the budget implementation of projects and prepares recommendations for corrective measures.
  • Forwards legal and commercial issues related to work contracts to the competent Departments.
  • Oversees procedures for the provisional and final acceptance of projects, as well as procedures for the amicable or judicial settlement with contracting parties.
  • Prepares and forwards recommendations for the issuance of the necessary contract supplements.
  • Collects and processes data related to the progress of contracts, including data on the cost and submission of relevant reports.
  • Processes and handles matters assigned by the Director of the Department, in compliance with the current operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering from a Greek or foreign University or College.
  • A Master's degree will be an asset.
  • At least 8 years of work experience in a role related to the responsibilities of the position, including at least 2 years of experience in team management and goal monitoring.
  • Experience in the energy or construction sector will be an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
