Our Deloitte Central Mediterranean practice (Greece, Italy, Malta) hosts our Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Magento/Adobe Commerce competence center. We are growing the pipeline of Italian based clients; thus, we are expanding to support international collaboration opportunities within Deloitte member firms across EMEA.

We are looking for a 
Junior Developer
in 
Thessaloniki
. You will have the chance to participate to important international projects becoming part of a growing, international network. You will be part of a project delivery team, with colleagues in Greece but as well as members of other international offices, including Italy. Delivering front and / or back-end development tasks, as part of an Agile Scrum team. The team supports our Clients in the design and implementation of value-added services based on eCommerce and Order Management technologies. 
You will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge of the eCommerce ecosystem, the services required by the market and your development skills. You will work on stimulating projects and have the opportunity to interact with enterprise-level international companies, supporting them in reaching their digital transformation goals. 

The role requires an interest in business process analysis and a willingness to learn Order Management solution configuration and integration skills.

For a full coverage of your role, you ought to be able to:

• Support the design and implementation of OMS solutions in agile mode, participating in all project phases, from analysis to configuration, testing and production.
• Collaborate with various team members (team leaders, technical architects, functional specialists, UX/UI experts and other developers) to complete project activities
• Interact with client company representatives to understand their needs and support them in identifying the best solution.

Key Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Degree related to Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
• Excellent knowledge of English and strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously but also within a team, high motivation for consulting field and analytical and problem-solving attitude.
• Knowledge of an Object-Oriented programming language (such as Java).
• Knowledge of web front-end development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
• Knowledge of relational databases and query languages (SQL).
• Willingness to learn how to configure and extend package solutions and use the application's API.
• Ability to write efficient, secure, and clean code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Interest and motivation to work in consulting, system integration or in a corporate environment on projects related to Order Management Systems.
• Flexibility and strong motivation to work in the fast-paced consulting field.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Availability to travel.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce suite (CRM, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) and development tools (Apex, SOQL, Flows, LWC).
• Basic knowledge of the main Order Management System solutions on the market (IBM Sterling, Manhattan, Fluent Commerce, Salesforce OMS, Radial, Kibo).
• Interest in developing back-end integration with eCommerce and retail ecosystems.
• Interest and/or indirect experience in eCommerce and Omnichannel projects.

The profile is rounded up by excellent analytical skills, precision, self-management capacities and a strong goal-oriented inclination.
