PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking Project-Based Experts in Embedded Systems and IoT Devices to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about developing and optimizing embedded systems and IoT products, while also contributing to projects related to the certification of the security of products with digital elements.

As part of our team, you will work within the European regulatory framework defined by the CRA and EUCC regulations, providing specialized guidance on complex technical issues. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and consistent interpretation of CRA and EUCC requirements for specific product categories, while actively supporting both development and certification initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test embedded systems and IoT devices, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and apply them to improve product capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop Product-Specific Evaluation Methodologies based on EUCC protection profiles for smart cards, smart meters, and POS devices.
  • Create training material to support the implementation of the Evaluation Methodologies.
  • Provide consulting services on the certification of products with digital elements according to the CRA and EUCC requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware design or software development for at least one of the following: payment systems (POS/PCI), smart cards, or industrial IoT devices (e.g., smart meters).
  • Solid understanding of the ISO/IEC Common Criteria) standards, including their application in IT product evaluation and certification processes.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise in the security of embedded systems and IoT devices.
  • In-depth knowledge of encryption methods and cryptographic protocols relevant to the above product categories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of training, mentoring, and guiding senior technical professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
