Senior Planner – Construction – Relocation

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Planner with international experience to join our team in Cyprus. In this senior role, you will lead the development and management of detailed construction schedules across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, and international stakeholders to ensure project timelines are realistic, risks are managed, and project delivery is seamless from pre-construction through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Scheduling:
- Prepare, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software
- Develop tender and master schedules for high-rise residential, hospitality, and commercial developments
- Monitor project progress, conduct critical path analysis, and advise on delays and mitigation strategies
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with design teams, contractors, consultants, and site management to ensure alignment between planning and execution
- Support the preparation of progress reports for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assist in logistics planning, method statements, and resource loading
Risk and Claims Management:
- Lead or contribute to delay analysis and claims support as required
- Identify potential risks early and propose mitigation plans
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior planning staff
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the planning function
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of construction planning experience, with
essential international experience - Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English: Greek language skills are advantageous but not essential
