Prima Corporation is further expanding and looking to strengthen the commercial team with an experienced individual in the chartering department.

Prima Corporation S.A. is a Dry Bulk Operator located in Glyfada. The company operates worldwide with a focus on 28K-100K DWT vessels and a fleet of more than 30 ships at any given time.

The position of Chartering Manager is a full-time role that requires on-site work. The Chartering Manager shall be responsible for developing, negotiating and finalizing voyage and time charter deals, as well as recognise opportunities for controlled fleet and market positions.

The Chartering Manager will also be required to:

• Provide service to established and new clients, think outside of the box and use leverage in an efficient and effective manner.

• Collaborate with the Operations Department to ensure seamless execution of charter agreements.

• Conduct market research and analysis, identify potential growth areas and inform about strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• About 5 years of experience or more, in a similar position.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong knowledge of Charter Party terms for both voyage and time-charter, legal principles & common shipping practice.

• Good understanding of the dry bulk shipping market, industry trends and dynamics.

• A degree in Shipping, ICS, or related field is preferred, but not required.
