The Belvedere Hotel
, one of Mykonos' most iconic properties, is seeking a 
dynamic and skilled technician
 to join our Engineering team.

This full-time seasonal position begins in 
mid-January 2026
 and runs for approximately 
9–10 months
, with the potential for 
annual renewal

Our Story

The story of the Belvedere Hotel begins in the 1920s, when the Campanis family welcomed friends and visitors from abroad to 
Villa Stoupa
, their summer residence that soon became known as a Mykonian oasis.

In 1969, Sofia Ioannidou-Campanis began renting out the villa, and a year later, Italian-American painter 
Piero Aversa
made it his summer sanctuary. Famous for his lively dinners and eclectic circle of socialites, artists, and politicians, he helped shape the villa's cosmopolitan legacy.

In 1995, 
Villa Stoupa
 was reborn as the 
Belvedere Hotel
, blending its glamorous past with contemporary luxury and warm Greek hospitality.

The Role – Shift Engineer

We are currently seeking a 
Shift Engineer
 to join the Belvedere Hotel Mykonos team.

Reporting directly to the 
Director of Engineering
, the Shift Engineer is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel facilities, guest rooms, and technical systems.

This hands-on, multi-skilled role involves electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance work with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

The Shift Engineer plays an essential part in upholding the Belvedere's reputation for 
exceptional guest experiences
through the maintenance of a flawless and secure environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical diploma or trade certification in one or more maintenance fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in general maintenance or engineering.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is considered an asset.
• Strong practical skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Basic computer literacy for CMMS data entry.
• Fluency in Greek; good knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a commitment to service excellence.
• Flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Active, hands-on role involving frequent walking, climbing, and inspection of mechanical rooms, rooftops, and pool areas.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to variable weather, mechanical noise, and dust.
• Requires bending, lifting, reaching, and occasional work at heights.
