Veeda Lifesciences is seeking a UAT Tester in Athens for its growing international hematology/oncology Clinical Trials program.

This is a full-time job.

Job overview:

The Company uses an EDC (Electronic Data Capture) System to retrieve, store and analyze patient data. The EDC System is constantly maintained and updated. After every maintenance work and before the release of every new update or bug correction, the System must be tested prior to release to ensure uninterrupted user experience and data integrity and quality. This process of putting the EDC System through various stress-test scenarios and ensuring that the System behavior is the desired one is called UAT (User Acceptance Testing). The UAT Tester oversees this procedure.

Main responsibilities:

  • Creates UAT scenarios to validate the operation of the EDC System, according to specifications
  • Implements those scenarios in a DEMO environment prior to release and observe the System's output
  • Communicates with developers to debug the System in cases where the System does not behave according to specifications
  • Repeats the above steps until the System's performance is consistent and according to specifications
  • Complies with the Company's Quality and Information Security Management Systems and applicable national and international legislation, including legislation for data protection

Job Requirements:

  • BSc In Science, Mathematics or relevant field
  • At least 6 months of working experience in the field
  • Desired: Basic knowledge of a software testing framework
  • Fluent computer skills (ICDL desired)
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of the team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
