Senior IT Systems Engineer
, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting the platforms that power our retail applications and corporate services.

What You'll Do

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide second-level support for applications, IT equipment, and peripherals
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex software and hardware issues

Systems & Server Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain system components and server software
  • Monitor uptime, performance, capacity, and infrastructure security 24/7

Configuration & Automation

  • Perform configuration management tasks and maintain accurate documentation
  • Develop scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate maintenance and deployments

Incident & Problem Management

  • Triage incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and lead resolution workflows
  • Manage backup/restore operations and disaster recovery testing

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Draft and maintain knowledge-base articles for first-line support teams
  • Participate in architecture design/reviews and define operational procedures

Security & Compliance

  • Evaluate, implement, and monitor security standards
  • Administer and manage security controls

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar corporate IT environment
  • Deep expertise in Windows Server platforms and enterprise-grade peripherals
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP & SNMP
  • Strong scripting skills for automation (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Excellent communication in Greek and English
  • Self-motivated, curious, and improvement-driven
