Lead Web Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative
Lead Web Designer

to lead our Web Design team and join our Vibrant Synergy of forces, consisting of top-level experts, ready to deliver outstanding work and add value to our portfolio.

Role Purpose

This role combines hands-on design expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring our clients' websites are not only visually stunning but also functional, user-friendly, and aligned with modern digital standards. You will work closely with designers, developers, project managers, and clients to deliver world-class web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead the web design team providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
• Establish and maintain design standards, processes, and best practices.
• Build, maintain & share knowledge library within the web design team and website product's shareholders
• Collaborate with management on teams & product's goals
• Work closely with account managers, project managers & developers to turn the idea/brief into functional, pixel perfect award-winning websites

Web Design Execution

• Design responsive, mobile-first, accessible, and engaging websites that align with client goals and brand guidelines.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, UI mockups, and visual assets.
• Leverage design systems and component libraries for scalability and consistency across projects.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation across devices and browsers.

Quality Assurance

• Review and refine design deliverables before client presentation and launch.
• Conduct design audits to maintain consistency across all projects.
• Ensure designs are optimized for performance, usability, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in web design, including UI/UX design for websites and web applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse web design projects, highlighting creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and design-to-development workflows.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organization skills.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience using Figma for end-to-end design processes, including creating high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems.
• Experience in wireframing and prototyping.
• Comfortable using AI-powered design assistants and automation tools to streamline workflows, accelerate ideation, and improve efficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and asset generation.
• Understanding of user journey mapping, user research and usability testing to improve designs.
• Experience using interaction design elements like animations, transitions, and small effects to improve user experience

Nice to haves

• Familiar with web performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to design and run usability testing.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and content architecture
• Familiar with Office 365 suite, including Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint for team collaboration, project discussions, and file sharing.
• Familiar with collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
