We are looking for an Area Sales Representative for the HORECA industry.

Our client is a food manufacturing company that belongs to an international group and specializes in high-quality bakery products.

We are seeking a motivated Area Sales Representative to drive growth within the HORECA sector. The selected candidate will play a key role in expanding the customer network, evaluating business opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of commercial objectives in the assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in the HORECA market, including cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and pastry shops
  • Assess market trends and identify value-adding opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Conduct client visits for needs assessment, product presentations, business proposals, and deal closure
  • Collaborate closely with wholesale partners and oversee order fulfilment
  • Identify and introduce wholesalers into new geographical areas
  • Propose alternative wholesale solutions within overlapping regions
  • Foster strong, ongoing relationships with wholesaler partners
  • Compile regular reports on performance, market insights, challenges, and opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region on a weekly basis

Qualifications & Candidate Profile Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the HORECA or foodservice industry
  • Academic background in business or a related field will be considered an asset
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and planning abilities
  • Strong team spirit and problem-solving mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer orientation and focus on commercial outcomes
