Area Sales Representative

We are looking for an Area Sales Representative for the HORECA industry.
Our client is a food manufacturing company that belongs to an international group and specializes in high-quality bakery products.
We are seeking a motivated Area Sales Representative to drive growth within the HORECA sector. The selected candidate will play a key role in expanding the customer network, evaluating business opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of commercial objectives in the assigned territory.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in the HORECA market, including cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and pastry shops
- Assess market trends and identify value-adding opportunities with new and existing customers
- Conduct client visits for needs assessment, product presentations, business proposals, and deal closure
- Collaborate closely with wholesale partners and oversee order fulfilment
- Identify and introduce wholesalers into new geographical areas
- Propose alternative wholesale solutions within overlapping regions
- Foster strong, ongoing relationships with wholesaler partners
- Compile regular reports on performance, market insights, challenges, and opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity and industry developments
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region on a weekly basis
Qualifications & Candidate Profile Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the HORECA or foodservice industry
- Academic background in business or a related field will be considered an asset
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and planning abilities
- Strong team spirit and problem-solving mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer orientation and focus on commercial outcomes
