Role Overview
We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, managing cloud-based data platforms, and optimizing data storage and processing solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and developers to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing data infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and related services.Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data sources.Implement data models and ensure data consistency, quality, and governance across environments.Manage and monitor Azure-based data solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with business intelligence and analytics platforms.Troubleshoot and optimize existing pipelines and data workflows for efficiency and reliability.

What You'll Bring

3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, preferably within the Azure ecosystem.Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Databricks.Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or PySpark for data transformations.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT design patterns, and data lake architectures.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly.
