Sword Services Greece S.A. is looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer. What you will do...

The jobholder will plan and execute all SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) testing tasks for major projects as well as for support / bug-fix releases of applications. These may include:

  • Analyze requirements in order to produce test specifications, test design and test plan documents;
  • Design test cases and test data;
  • Execute test cases mostly manually and automated;
  • Analyze and report testing progress/ results;
  • Ensure testing capabilities are applied throughout the software development lifecycle, aiming to always increase quality following CI/CD practices.

What is your experience...

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • At least 6 years' experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance or similar position;
  • Experience testing Web services (REST and/or SOAP) using some of the following tools: Postman, soapUI, loadUI, Jmeter;
  • Knowledge of basic DB queries (SQL, Postgress);
  • Solid understanding of all levels of the testing pyramid;
  • Familiarity of task management (Jira) and test case management tools (qTest, TestRail, Zephyr);
  • Familiarity working with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, etc);
  • Experience in the following will be considered an asset:
  • Experience in Agile working methodologies;
  • Experience working with European Organization projects;
  • Experience with Cloud/Container distributions;
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
