Seaven:
Tanker Company of the year 2025, with an expanding fleet of Oil/ Chemical Tankers and Cement carriers, trading in Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Sea, seeks a skilled and, qualified Performance Engineer.

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Qualifications:

o  Well established previous working experience for a minimum of 2 years in a similar role

o  Strong understanding of Environmental Regulations and Compliance procedures (IMO DCS, EU MRV/ ETS/ FuelEU)

o  Good knowledge of vessels' main equipment (Engines, Boilers, Pumps)

o  Strong knowledge of electronic PMS (preferably Danaos)

o  Ability to analyze complex data and create meaningful conclusions and KPIs

o  Excellent command of English language both verbal and written

o  Excellent knowledge of PC Skills (especially excel formulas)

o  Master's Degree is not necessary but highly recommended

Objective:

o  To ensure compliance with environmental regulations, coordinate performance projects and vessels' PMS Database

Responsibilities:

o  Closely monitors vessels e-PMS Database and performs changes and updates in coordination with Technical and Marine S/Ts

o  Keep records for overdue jobs for Critical and Non-Critical equipment on a monthly basis

o  Assists the Technical and Marine S/Ts on vessels' Defects close-out

o  Provides training on e-PMS to Master and Officers onboard, to on-signers and to Office personnel

o  Stays updated with Environmental Regulations (both IMO and EU related)

o  Monitors, amends and assists vessels on the correct Environmental Data Collection tools and methods

o  Ensures that the Environmental data are correct and their submission to the Verifier is done in a timely manner, along with the supporting documentation

o  Analyses complex emissions data, updates the historical records and presents the relevant KPIs (EEOI, AER, CII, SOx, NOx, PM) where needed

o  Ensures that the
IMS
and Company Policies are successfully followed in relation to both PMS and Environmental Management

o  Gives meaningful insights to Technical & Operations Manager against the vessels' performances (consumption, speed against T/Cs)

o  Monitors the technical performance of the managed ships and ships' performance, based on their regular/periodical reporting

o  Calculates the EUAs and FuelEU Penalties needed in cooperation with Commercial and Operations Manager

o  Conducts case studies on different compliance pathways and provides support to Decision Makers within the Company (Biofuels, Pooling etc)

o  Participates in the Company's ESG Report creation (related to the "E" pillar)

o  Participates in Classification Audits (SEEMP, EU MRV/ FuelEU Plans)

o  Participates in Industry Audits (TMSA, Green Awards).
