ValueSync is seeking a skilled Technical Support Field Technician to join our team and provide on-site support to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems directly at customer sites. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide training on product usage, and ensure a smooth implementation of our services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support for client hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide training as needed.
  • Document service visits, actions taken, and resolution steps in the system for future reference.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of new systems and upgrades at client locations.
  • Work with the technical support team to escalate complex issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in a field support role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients to understand and address their needs.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and flexible to work varied hours as needed.
