Assistant Accountant

Candidate Profile:

The key responsibilities of the suitable candidates will include:

• Data entry of financial documents and accounting entries
• Managing financial and accounting transactions.
• Overseeing the submission and compliance with the overall requirements of the MyDATA tax system.
• Handling all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Supporting the preparation of periodic tax returns (VAT, payroll taxes, etc.)
• Filing and organizing accounting documents
• Collaborating with external auditors
• Creating ad-hoc reports for various business needs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• Accountant – Tax Consultant license (at least Class B)
• Excellent knowledge of Greek tax and accounting regulations
• 2-5 years relevant experience in a well-structured business environment.
• Excellent computer skills and especially MS Excel skills.
