Metropolitan College-IEK AKMI Educational Group, members of Alphabet Education, the largest Educational Group in Greece, are seeking to further expand its Accounting & Finance Department (at Marousi Campus), with an:
Assistant Accountant
Candidate Profile:
The key responsibilities of the suitable candidates will include:

• Data entry of financial documents and accounting entries
• Managing financial and accounting transactions
• Overseeing the submission and compliance with the overall requirements of the MyDATA tax system
• Handling all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Supporting the preparation of periodic tax returns (VAT, payroll taxes, etc.)
• Filing and organizing accounting documents
• Collaborating with external auditors
• Creating ad-hoc reports for various business needs

Requirements
Qualifications:

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Accountant - Tax Consultant license (at least Class B)
• Excellent knowledge of Greek tax and accounting regulations
• 2-5 years relevant experience in a well-structured business environment
• Excellent computer skills and especially MS Excel skills
