We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our editorial team and take ownership of content distribution across our social media channels. The role involves daily collaboration with journalists to identify key stories and publish them effectively on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

  • ⁠Select and adapt editorial content for social media
  • Write and publish posts across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Collaborate closely with newsroom teams on a daily basis
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and engaging content delivery
  • ⁠Monitor platform trends and adjust tone and format accordingly
  • Assist in creating or adapting visual assets for social posts when needed

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of social platforms and their content formats
  • Strong editorial sense and news judgment
  • ⁠Excellent written communication skills in Greek; working knowledge of English
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced news environment
  • Availability to work afternoon shifts
