Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Lawyer located in Athens. The Associate will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing complex contracts, preparing well-reasoned legal opinions, and representing clients before courts and administrative authorities. The Associate will actively contribute to case strategy, negotiations, and client advisory, while working in close collaboration with senior partners. In addition, the role involves supporting business development initiatives by identifying legal opportunities and delivering high-quality counsel to clients across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from an accredited institution; postgraduate degree (LLM) in relevant fields is a plus
  • Licensed to practice law in Greece
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Fluent in Greek & English, with advanced written and verbal communication skills in both languages; additional languages considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in overseeing diverse caseloads and meeting deadlines effectively
  • Skilled in legal research, analysis, and the drafting of legal documents
  • Experience in litigation and representing clients in civil and administrative courts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
