Senior Accountant – Reporting Analyst

A Shipping Company located in Athens, with a fleet of dry bulk and tanker vessels, seeks to employ a highly motivated Senior Accountant – Reporting Analyst.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure books and records are maintained adequately and all accounting procedures follow the IFRS
  • Responsible for the timely preparation of all periodic reports in accordance with IFRS
  • Perform various reconciliations (bank, SOAs from foreign and local suppliers)
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as per management requirements

Desired skills:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience in a similar position or within an auditing firm
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and shipping practices
  • Excellent MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Benefit ERP will be considered an asset
