We are a Software House operating in Greece since 2011, with continuous growth and an expanding client base. We focus exclusively on developing specialized software for businesses and organizations (both in the private and public sectors), offering both packaged solutions and custom projects.

The range of areas we cover is quite broad and constantly expanding. Indicative fields include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), E-commerce & Marketing Automation, and E-government Portals & Applications.

Position

We are looking for a Mid-Level BI Engineer with minimum 3 years of solid experience in delivering robust Power BI solutions, with a strong technical focus on DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices. We are looking for a BI Engineer who understands and enjoys both the technical ownership of data models and the visualization layer in Power BI.

You will own and evolve our Power BI ecosystem and SSAS Tabular model, while also playing a key role in our modernization journey towards PaaS solutions in Azure. Your work will bridge technical data modeling, advanced calculations, and high-quality reporting, with a focus on engineering excellence and effective visual UX design.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI datasets and reports using best practices for data modeling and performance optimization.

• Write and optimize complex DAX calculations to support sophisticated reporting needs.

• Contribute to the migration and redesign of our BI infrastructure (SSAS, Power BI, Data Warehouse) towards Microsoft Fabric.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Strong experience with SQL, particularly at the Data Query Language (DQL) level — writing queries for reporting and analysis using SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, etc.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency through a detail-oriented approach

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Contribute to a team-oriented environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills in customer-facing situations.

Must have (technical) knowledge/skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.

o Strong expertise in DAX

o Solid understanding in Power Query

o Good understanding of data modeling principles. (Schemas, Relationships, Granularity)

• Strong data visualization skills and best practices.

• Good knowledge of T-SQL for reporting purposes

• Basic understanding of Power BI/Fabric Service ecosystem and admin tasks (Refreshes, Workspace Settings etc).

Nice to have (technical) knowledge/skills:

• Experience working with Azure Data tools (e.g. Data Factory, Fabric).

• Basic understanding of DevOps for Power BI (deployment pipelines, version control).

• Exposure to Data Warehouse concepts and migration projects.

• Familiarity with SSAS Tabular model.

• Power BI Data Analyst/ Fabric Data Engineer Certification
