ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, a dynamically a Greece-based cement, concrete and aggregates company, is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.

Location: Athens, Attiki
You will be reporting to: Quarries Mechanical Maintenance Manager


Summary:
Plan and support maintenance operations to ensure quarry mobile equipment availability and optimal performance, managing troubleshooting, spare parts, supplier evaluation, and proactive maintenance to minimize failures and costs. Ensure compliance with the Code of Business Conduct and company policies by completing mandatory training. Support mobile equipment investment projects from definition and scheduling to execution and handover.

What you will do:

  • Ensure inspection, planning, scheduling, execution & troubleshooting of maintenance operations for mobile equipment, looking for the optimum use of resources - suppliers, equipment availability and maintenance cost. Maintenance budgeting (manage & review all expenses under the responsibility against budget by regularly review.
  • Develops the Preventive Mobile Maintenance plan and monitors its execution in Quarries.
  • Support Capex execution phase implementation for Aggregates Quarries and LAVA projects appointed in time, in a budgeted frame.
  • Accountable for ensuring the health and safety of oneself and colleagues by complying with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations of Occupational Health and Safety at work.
  • Keep Maintenance "library" updated and ensure documentation is permanently updated "as built".
  • Manage revenue (OPEX & CAPEX), control maintenance costs, and optimize financial performance (EBIT) through purchasing.
  • Ensure equipment reliability and efficient maintenance.
  • Oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Mechanical Engineering (AEI)
  • At least 3 years in the manufacturing industry with experience in maintenance operations & planning in earth moving, drilling mobile equipment & tipper trucks.
  • Knowledge of the MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of the English language

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical maintenance operations & planning for mobile equipment
  • Safety rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of basic quarry process
  • Ability to communicate with all different levels of people
  • Result driven (reliability, cost)
  • Leadership in managing projects
  • Problem solving, Decision Making, Autonomy.
