Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated
Associate

to join our EU Competition & State Aid practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven experience both in competition law and state aid matters, and the ambition to develop further within a dynamic and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

●      

Advise clients on all aspects of EU and Greek competition law, including merger control, antitrust investigations, abuse of dominance, and compliance programs

●      

Advise clients on state aid law matters and FDI regulation

●      

Represent clients before the Hellenic Competition Commission, the European Commission, and relevant courts

●      

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, submissions, and notifications before the competent authorities and courts

●      

Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas on multidisciplinary cases and transactions

Qualifications:

●      Postgraduate degree (LLM degree or equivalent) with a focus on EU Competition Law from a leading university

●      Minimum 2 years of experience in competition law

●      Experience in state aid matters

●      Internship at the Hellenic Competition Commission or the EU Institutions (DG COMP, Legal Service, EU Courts)

●      Strong knowledge of EU and Greek competition law framework

●      Excellent drafting and analytical skills

●      Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)

●      Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

●      Commercial acumen and the ability to approach legal matters with a business-oriented mindset

●      Dedication to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations
