2D Character Animator

We believe that powerful ideas deserve equally powerful visual narratives. As part of our growing Creative Circle of freelance partners, we are seeking talented
2D Character Animators
to collaborate with our creative team on an ad-hoc, project-by-project basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for animators who enjoy designing and bringing characters to life, and who want to contribute to meaningful, content-driven projects — from educational explainers and corporate storytelling to digital campaigns and editorial-style videos

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

· Design and animate
original 2D characters
for explainer and branded content.

· Develop
character rigs
, expressions and motion systems aligned with narrative goals.

· Collaborate closely with scriptwriters, creative directors and motion designers to enhance storytelling.

·
Translate complex ideas
into simple, human-centered animated scenes.

·
Adapt character styles
to different visual identities and brand guidelines.

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

·       
Proven experience as a 2D Character Animator
or Animator in digital/video projects.

·       Strong proficiency in tools such as
After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Toon Boom, Moho
or equivalent.

·       Solid understanding of
animation
principles (timing, weight, acting, staging).

·       Ability to design characters
from scratch
(not only animate existing assets).

·       Comfortable working independently and delivering within
tight deadlines.

Core competencies of a successful candidate:

·       Strong storytelling mindset — not just technical animation.

·       High aesthetic standards and attention to detail.

·       Ability to simplify complex concepts through character-driven visuals.

·       Open to feedback and collaborative creative processes.
